Updates to Raid Attacks

A new update is coming soon to Game of Thrones: Legends, set to start with the new Raids season on April 28th, 2025 at 1PM ET. Read on to learn more!

Recently, Raid battles have become more strategic by rewarding attackers with more Trophies when they defeat opponents with a higher Trophy count, and fewer Trophies when attacking those with a lower Trophy count. We want to take this a step further and provide more clarity and options to aid strategic choices in Raids with the following updates.

Attackers will now be able to choose from three opponents instead of just one, allowing them to assess their opponents' Might, the potential Trophies they can win, and pick the worthiest opponent! Now, opponents’ Trophy count will be displayed alongside the winnable Trophies, making the Trophy calculation more clear and easier to understand.

With the addition of two new opponents to choose from, we will be adjusting the Food cost for each refresh to reflect the increased number of surfaced opponents. We will raise the Food cost for refreshing, starting from three free refreshes and scaling from 100 up to 10,000 Food per refresh until the end of day. Our goal is to let players find worthy opponents, but ensure it comes at a meaningful cost.

A few releases ago, we made an adjustment so that the Opponents tab only showed players from your tier or adjacent tiers. As we’re moving to a system where the Opponents tab shows players a pool of opponents from their own tier, we want to enable attacks to happen on this tab, and less so on players’ own leaderboards. For that, with the launch of this feature, we’ll reduce leaderboard attacks per each opponent to happen just once per season. So be strategic and choose the best moment to strike when it will hurt your opponents the most!
